The Relationship Manager is the face of the company. They interact with existing and potential customers, as well as employees. They address customer needs, policy changes, and concerns. They make sure all employees are well informed and up to date on company policies and news. They take part in sales presentations, and they help train new representatives.

Relationship Manager  Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and maintain a database of current and potential clients
  • Contact and interview potential clients to assess needs and determine available funding options
  • Meet with prospective clients to discuss financing options, product details, and facility requirements
  • Coordinate with internal departments and outside contractors to ensure client satisfaction
  • Maintain and update SOW and pre construction documents, and monitor contract obligations with a goal of building relationships with reliable contractors and vendors
  • Create and oversee marketing strategies and campaigns, track marketing and financial metrics, and ensure all marketing is in compliance with all laws and regulations

  • Oversee and motivate a team to deliver quality services, achieve customer satisfaction, and exceed expectations
  • Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management

Relationship Manager Skills Needed

  • Proven sales experience (2+ years)
