Canvasser Job Responsibilities
- Canvassers are responsible for going door to door and talking to people about a certain issue or campaign.
- They must be able to articulate the main points of their message clearly and concisely.
- They must be polite and respectful when speaking with potential voters, even if they do not agree with the canvasser's views.
- Canvassers should keep track of the conversations they have had with people, in order to report back to their supervisor.

Canvasser Job Skills & Qualifications Needed
- There are no formal qualifications required to become a canvasser, although basic numeracy and literacy skills are essential. Canvassers must be able to communicate effectively with members of the public, be persuasive and have the ability to work independently. Prior experience in customer service or sales would be an advantage.
