Project Accountant Job Description Template
The Project Accountant will be responsible for the financial management of construction projects. - To prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management, highlighting any areas of concern or opportunity.
- To continuously monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring that projects remain on track financially.
- To identify cost savings opportunities within projects, and work with project managers to implement them where possible.
Project Accountant Job Skills & Qualifications Needed
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
