The Expatriate Administrator will be responsible for assisting with the administration of employee expatriate assignments, including but not limited to: developing assignment packages and letters of agreement; tracking and maintaining data in HR systems; coordinating and communicating with global mobility vendors; preparing expense reports; conducting research on various host countries; and providing general administrative support to the global mobility team. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Expatriate Administrator Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of employee expatriate status
  • Ensure compliance with host country employment laws and regulations
  • Coordinate the delivery of required benefits and services to employees on assignment
  • Act as a liaison between employees and host country government agencies
  • Provide guidance and support to employees throughout the assignment process
  • Assist with the development of policies and procedures related to expatriate assignments

Objectives

  • To ensure that all expatriate employees are able to obtain the necessary visas and work permits for their assigned country.
  • To coordinate with the human resources department to ensure that expatriate employees are provided with the necessary orientation and training.
  • To provide support to expatriate employees during their assignment, including assistance with housing and transportation needs.
  • To maintain communication with the home office regarding the status of expatriate employees and any issues or concerns that arise during their assignment.
  • To assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the administration of expatriate assignments.
