Accounting Associate Job Description Template
The Accounting Associate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining accounting records, and reconciling bank accounts. The Associate will also help to maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and assist with month-end closing procedures. Accounting Associate Job Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Assist with monthend close process
- Perform account analysis and reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset schedule and depreciation journal entries
- Prepare sales tax returns
- Support Accounts Receivable/Payable functions as needed
- Other ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested by management
