The Collection Agent must be able to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult customers, and must have excellent negotiation skills. They will also keep records of all customer interactions and update the debtors file accordingly.

Collection Agent Job Responsibilities

  • Some college preferred
  • 23 years of experience in a collections or customer service environment
  • Basic math skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
  • Type 3040 words per minute
