The Lead Toddler Teacher will be responsible for providing care and education for toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years old. They will create a safe, nurturing environment where toddlers can explore, play and learn. The Lead Toddler Teacher will develop and implement lesson plans that promote physical, cognitive and social-emotional development. They will also monitor each child’s progress and provide feedback to parents.

Lead Toddler Teacher Job Responsibilities

  • Teach and care for a group of toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years old
  • Plan and carry out daily activities that encourage physical, mental, and emotional development
  • Work with parents or guardians to develop individualized plans for each child
  • Keep detailed records of each child's progress and behavior
  • Supervise and train assistant teachers and aides
  • Serve as a positive role model for children
