The Window Tinter will be responsible for applying window film to the interior and exterior windows of commercial and residential buildings. The Window Tinter will use a variety of hand tools and power tools to measure, cut, and apply the window film. The Window Tinter will also be responsible for cleaning the windows prior to applying the window film.
Window Tinter Job Responsibilities
- Measuring and cutting film to the correct size
- Cleaning the window surface to prepare for application
- Applying the film to the window surface
- Trimming excess film from around the edges
- Curing the film to set it in place
Objectives
- To apply window film to glass surfaces in order to reduce heat, glare, and UV rays.
- To cut and install window film according to specifications.
- To clean and prepare surfaces prior to window tinting.
- To remove old window film and clean surfaces afterwards.
- To maintain a clean and organized work area.
Window Tinter Job Skills & Qualifications Needed
- Window Tinters need to have good attention to detail, as they will be working with small pieces of film. They must also be able to follow instructions carefully.
