The Vice President will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company and overseeing all aspects of the business. They will work closely with the CEO to develop and implement plans and strategies to grow the business. The Vice President will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company, as well as its financial performance.
Vice President Job Responsibilities
- The Vice President shall be the secondhighest ranking officer in the executive branch of the federal government of the United States, after the President of the United States.
- As first in the presidential line of succession, the Vice President is usually prepared to assume the presidency in case of removal or death of a sitting president.
- The Vice President presides over and may break ties in the United States Senate; as provided by Article I, Section 3, Clause 4, he or she also serves as ex officio member and presiding officer of that body's "Committee on Foreign Relations".
- In addition to these roles,the Vice President may be assigned additional duties by either Presidential decree or Executive Order; for example, George H. W. Bush served as Chairman of both the National Space Council and Drug Policy Board during his time as Ronald Reagan's running mate and later Vice President.
