SEO Specialist Job Description Template
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for improving the visibility and ranking of our client's website on search engines. They will work closely with the web development team to ensure that all website content is optimized for maximum search engine visibility. The Specialist will also be responsible for conducting keyword research and creating on-page optimization strategies.
SEO Specialist Job Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research to identify new opportunities for ranking in search engines
- Monitor and report on SERP results for assigned keywords, identifying any changes or fluctuations in rankings
- Analyze website traffic data to identify trends and recommend strategies for increasing website traffic
- Stay upto-date on latest SEO best practices and industry trends
- Implement onpage optimization techniques such as title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, etc.
- Perform link building activities such as directory submissions, blog commenting, guest posting, etc.
- Monitor and report on competitor SEO activities

SEO Specialist Job Skills & Qualifications Needed
- A minimum of 2 years experience in SEO is required for this role.
- Proven track record in ranking websites on Google and other major search engines.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO techniques, tools and best practices.
- Experience with popular SEO software such as Moz, Ahrefs or SEMrush.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
