The Recreation Specialist will be responsible for the planning, organization and implementation of recreation programs in the community. They will work with individuals, families and groups to provide recreational opportunities that promote health and well-being. The Recreation Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining program records, preparing reports and evaluating program effectiveness.

Recreation Specialist Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement recreation programs for individuals of all ages.
  • Monitor participants during recreation activities to ensure their safety.
  • Evaluate participants' skills and abilities to determine their level of participation in recreation activities.
  • Modify recreation activities as needed to accommodate the needs of participants.
  • Document and report on the progress of participants in recreation programs.

Recreation Specialist Job Skills & Qualifications Needed
