Process Technician Job Description Template
The Process Technician is responsible for the operation of all process equipment in the assigned area. The Process Technician will perform all tasks necessary to safely and efficiently operate the process equipment, including but not limited to: starting up and shutting down process equipment, monitoring and adjusting process parameters, completing preventative maintenance on process equipment, troubleshooting process issues, and training new employees on proper process operation.

Process Technician Job Skills & Qualifications Needed
- Some process technicians may need to have previous experience in manufacturing or a related field. Many employers require candidates to have an associate's degree in industrial technology, although some jobs may only require a high school diploma or equivalent. Most process technicians complete onthe-job training, which can last up to several months. Some skills and qualifications needed for the role of process technician include:
