The Nurse Midwife is responsible for the care of pregnant women and their newborn infants. They provide comprehensive prenatal, labor and postpartum care. They also offer well-woman gynecological care throughout a woman's lifespan.

Nurse Midwife Job Responsibilities

  • Provide primary and specialty care to women of all ages
  • Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide patient education

Nurse Midwife Job Skills & Qualifications Needed
