The Lot Attendant is responsible for ensuring that the parking lot and surrounding areas are clean, safe and free of debris. They will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests and patrons of the facility. The Lot Attendant will be expected to work closely with the Facility Manager to ensure that all parking regulations are being followed and that the property is well-maintained.

Lot Attendant Job Responsibilities

  • Greet customers as they arrive and direct them to available parking spots
  • Keep the parking lot clean and free of trash
  • Assist customers with directions or any questions they may have
  • Help disabled customers with special parking needs
  • Monitor the parking lot for suspicious activity and report any incidents to security or management
  • Collect payments from customers

Lot Attendant Job Skills & Qualifications Needed

  • Most employers will require a high school diploma or equivalent, although some may prefer applicants with postsecondary education. Lot attendants typically receive onthe-job training, which can last several weeks. Employers generally look for candidates with strong customer service skills and a good driving record.
