Aircraft Mechanic Job Skills & Qualifications Needed
- Aircraft mechanics must have a high school diploma or equivalent. They must also complete an FAAapproved aviation maintenance technician program, which includes both classroom and on-the-job training. After completing their training, aircraft mechanics must pass an FAA examination to earn their certification.
