An HR Director is responsible for the day-to-day activities of HR personnel. They oversee recruitment and hiring, training and development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. HR Director Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive Human Resources strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's business objectives, while maintaining a healthy corporate culture and work environment
- Manage employee relations, including disciplinary procedures and labor relations
- Provide guidance, training, and coaching to managers, supervisors, and subordinates on company policies and programs
- Develop recruiting strategies for job announcements, postings, and job fairs to attract top candidates

Objectives
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to employee relations, conflict resolution, payroll, employee benefits, and payroll processing
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Work with managers to develop performance appraisals and employee reviews
- Manage performance standards, rewards and recognition programs, and employee assistance programs
- Provide training, coaching, and counseling to employees
- Handle employee complaints and grievances
- Investigate and resolve personnel issues
- Provide daytoday training and orientation for new employees
- Conduct exit interviews after employees leave the company
- Manage job applicant and employee file records
HR Director Skills Needed
- Bachelor’s degree and eight years’ experience in human resources, or a related field
- Preferably will be a certified HR professional (or working towards certification)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to build and manage teams
- Experience in managing human resources in a fast paced, challenging environment
